Stroboscopic shoot. Actually this was the technically most sophisticated shooting for me by now …

- 7 flashes, 5 bare, 2 in shoot-thru brollies (left / right)
- 2 RF channels to trigger two flashes independantly
- 4 opto slaves

The camera was on bulb mode, left-hand-triggered via cable release, and then it RF-triggers the 1st RF channel, my other hand hand triggered the 7th flash.

Of course, all is done in one photo, matter of honour :-)

The seven flashes from left to right (= sequence of firing):
1. RF-triggered, channel 1, shoot-thru brolly, 1/8 power
2. opto slave, reacting according to no. 4, 1/64 power
3. opto slave, reacting according to no. 4, 1/64 power
4. RF-triggered, channel 1, 580EXII, on strobo mode, 1/32 power
5. opto slave, reacting according to no. 4, 1/64 power
6. opto slave, reacting according to no. 4, 1/64 power
7. RF-triggered, channel 2, shoot-thru brolly, 1/8 power

Flashes 2—6 are pointing down to the floor, the optocell in the Yongnuo YN460 (here on mode S1) is located in the head and sees the firing of the canon flash (no.4).

Time sequence:
cable release opens the shutter (bulb mode, approx 4 seconds)
Flashes No. 1-6 are firing, dancer moves from left to right
dancer stands in front of Flash No. 7
my right hand triggeres with a second rf remote Flash No. 7
my left hand closes the shutter via the cable release

That was fun!!

:-))
