Bounced on-camera TTL flash
Bounced flash: On-camera TTL flash, bounced to the wall, equipped with a small flag (google: "black foamy thing" or "silver foamy thing").
The flag or gobo is necessary to block the (harsh, ugly) direct light.It is made of a mousepad with some shiny stickytape on it.
