This is my room lighting for wedding receptions. Heck it can be used for any environment. I call it "The Triangle of Light". The Speedlights are used, they can be either manual or ETTL mode. I happen to like working in ETTL with groups. The two Speedlights would be at the front of the rom where the band might set up, in group "A". The Speedlight in the back of the room is in group "B". This way you have control of the flash output using Ratio. Since most interior rooms are Tungsten light and I use all the light available, I gel the Speedlights to match with full CTO filters. I do not use an on camera flash. All the lights are controlled from camera using the Canon STE2 in combination with Radiopopper transmitter & receivers. Gorgeous light anywhere in the room.
