You know what to do.
My subject was sitting down for this image and she was holding a unicorn plush.
The softbox was placed a couple of inches away from her. I believe it was a 2×3 softbox.
My camera settings were ISO: 100, Aperture at f8, and Shutter Speed 1/125
I believe the lighting was set between F4.5-5.0.
For this project, I used Broad Lighting where the lighting casts a shadow on the far side of the subject. I believe I did a good job with this, especially with showing the shadows in the image. I didn’t really face any challenges I was playing around with the light until I got the look I was going for. It was interesting to see how changing the intensity of the lighting can affect the overall mood of the image. Also, I didn’t want the shadows to be too dramatic, just a little bit. Overall, I think it turned out alright. The only think I can improve is possibly eliminating the awkward shadows in the image.
