the lights are going to all be the same height as the model to create the even lighting cross the whole photo. I have used the soft boxes to help light the background as well as a white background for the over exposed feel. The ring light will be used to capture the movement of the face as well and making sure the different features are in enough focus. the ring light is also used to crates the same light reflected in the eye as Richard Avedon and to create the contrast of an overexposed background with a darker, more defined person.
