I used two Godox flash lights fitted with coloured gels - one blue and one orange. These were placed on either side of the subjects to light their faces from opposite angles, giving each a unique mood and creating a strong contrast down the centre of the image. Then, behind the camera I had another Godox with a large softbox, set to 2.3, and set back a couple meters to ensure the subjects were well lit.
