I Light

Astrid [DIY Ring Flash Contest]
This was a job for a store who made their own collection of PVC clothing and the location is next to the shop in a stairwell, which had huge beautiful windows that worked great as the background for this image.
Since PVC is such a shiny material, it easily gives strong highlights. To prevent this I just told the model to turn slighty left, right, back and forth. Moving the light also helps.
I am standing at the bottom of the stairs, but since I'm so tall I hardly need to use a chair (just about tipping on my toes) to get into the same height as the model.
The umbrella is standing just a few feet out of frame.
