Lighting with Layers

This is a four-light setup using a Canon 60D at f/5.6 with shutter at 1/250th ISO 100. All lights are triggered with the Canon optical E-TTL system. Both the key and the fill are set on E-TTL with a ratio of 6:1 A:B. Key light is a Canon 600EX-RT with an Apollo Soft-Box. Fill light is also a 600 using a shoot-through umbrella. Hair light is a 580EXII set to manual free range at 1/16th power zoomed to 105 to retain a narrow focus. Background light is also a 580 set on manual free range at 1/2 power through a grid with a honl Hollywood filter.
