Had a quick setup to photograph my son in Golden Gate Park.
Set SB-800 @ 1/2 power with a shoot through umbrella camera left. Sun was shining through trees from behind and was providing some separation. I underexposed background by 1 or 2 stops and snapped a few frames while he was moving around on the picnic blanket.
