Objective: Testing the new "Nissin Air System" (NAS) consisting of the newly released Nissin Di700a Flashgun (speedlights) accompanied with the Air 10s Commander Hybrid TTL trigger for use on an upcoming location lecture / shoot. Scenario 1 - Open Shade In open shade (metered at f/8.0 @ 1/100, ISO 125) Using the Nissin Air 10s Commander w/Nissin Di700a with a 20" Westcott Rapid Box Modifier positioned directly in front of the subject as the main light. With the power setting at 1/8 with a distance of approximately 3 feet we were able to capture f/8.0 Shot with: Canon Ds mark IV body, w/Tamron SP 85mm f/1.8 DiVC USD, 5100k, ISO: 125, 1/100, f/8.0 Scenario 2 - Open Shade Using the lighting up as above, keeping the power at 1/8 and moving the main light back to approximately 7' produce f/4.0, then added a second Nissin Di700a with a Rogue Bender modifier also set to 1/8 power to be used a fill set at a distance of approximately 3 feet away from the subject.
