For this shoot, I wanted to create and image with the idea of two girls looking lost and alone, seemingly from another era. The idea was that they would be surrounded by motion blur of people just walking by as though time stood still for them. With my camera fixed in position on a tripod, I brought in a strobe on a large soft box to freeze the two girls in action. After getting the desired image of the girls, I then shot a couple of plates with a low shutter speed to capture the motion blur of people walking by. The motion blur was then composted into the final image through post processing.
